Almost 100m long, with a 52m high main mast and a total sail area of 2,771m², she belongs to the category of the largest sailing vessels and is among the fastest.

Apart from her training role, she also offers sailing trips to members of the public and takes part in many races (such as the Tall Ships’ Races) and special events (such as SAIL Amsterdam 2010).

Mir has five sister ships: Khersones, Nadeshda, Pallada, Druzhba and Dar Mlodziezy.
